Got a succubus showdown on this edition of versus. With the recent release of Julia’s succubus video I thought I’d compare the two and see how they stack up. Will Julia rise up and take the crown or will Hitomi’s bust be too big to overcome? Lets find out…
Plot
Both of these videos share nearly the exact same plot so I’ll just lump the two together here. A young man performers a ritual to summon a succubus spirit to take his virginity. However the spirit ends up possessing his busty older sister. Soon after she ends up having sex with him and the rest of the film follows their ongoing sexual relationship as she constantly milks load after load out of him. So how well do these films make use of the succubus trope? Honestly it’s a bit half baked. Oppai’s attempt at the succubus genre feels a little lazy. They could have done more with the concept. While the execution left a bit to be desired, I still enjoyed the premise as a whole. The idea of having the succubus possess the guy’s sister and thus adding in some incest is a nice touch.
Sex
One big positive this film has going for it is the action. For one there are loads of sex scenes here. In fact there are four in total(although one is brief). Each of those ends in a creampie too which is great and certainly fits the theme. What’s especially nice is that one of the scenes involves them fucking around the house while avoiding their parents. Another highlight includes a scene of her riding him while underneath the covers shot in pov. However it’s not quite all great as the last scene is very bland and forgettable and comes off as an afterthought. Not to mention there’s a big focus on cowgirl which makes sense given the premise but gets a bit repetitive at times.
PPPD-788 features roughly the same setup and scene structure but does vary a bit in some areas. In total there’s four scenes all together with 3 being full sex scenes and one a combo blowjob/paizuri scene. While there’s one less scene it means each scene is a bit more fleshed out. Now one key difference is that there’s a lot more pov prevalent here than Julia’s entry. In fact 3/4 are pov entirely. Now one issue I have is that 2 of the sex scenes just feature cowgirl. Again I understand the reason why but it’s still a bit repetitive. However the last sex scene is way more dynamic and honestly may be the best scene for her in 2019. Especially the doggystyle section which is insanely hot. Plus there’s even some cum swallowing that is fake but the effect is still worth it. And one last note is that the paizuri is surely one of her all time best tittyfucks. It’s THAT good.
Performance
I gotta Julia some credit here and say her performance isn’t half bad. Far from perfect but solid. Her facial expressions are fine and her enthusiasm is equally fine. And just the same her engagement with the actor is good. However she doesn’t go far enough imo. She doesn’t quite have the thirsty succubus vibe that you expect. Just sorta comes across as a slightly above average Julia performance with some dominance thrown in. Also in the last scene she’s particularly underwhelming with her frequent whining and submissive stance. In summary she’s not bad but she could have done a better job at portraying a succubus.
Hitomi’s performance fairs a bit better imo. For starters her facial expressions invoke a little more “thirst” and lust in them and don’t come off as forced. Given that there’s way more pov here her performance feels much more engaging as a whole. No doubt though that the best example of her skills are shown off in the last scene which involves her and the guy moving around the house staying hidden from the parents until they finally go into a bedroom and she lets loose. Her acting during that section is nothing short of perfection. So full of enthusiasm. Still not perfect though as there’s a few spots where she’s a tad lackluster.
Appearance
So how well do these two portray the look of a succubus? In Julia’s case she looks pretty good actually. When she’s full succubus she’s got the horns, the tattoos and even contact lenses that really helps seal the look. Although I must say personally I’m not a fan of the arm tats. Beyond that she also wears some nice stockings and a black bikini top. Now the issue is that she doesn’t wear this look in every scene. In two of the fives scenes she doesn’t have the full look. Instead just donning the a few tats and the tail. It breaks the immersion of the theme imo.
How does Hitomi portray the succubus look? About the same as Julia tbh. She dons the same horns, black bikini set(which looks better on Hitomi due to her spilling out of it), tail and some tattoos. Now the differences is that she has less tats overall as opposed to Julia which is great imo. Instead she sports some black sleeves and nails that really compliment her look. But she still loses much of the succubus motif for a few scenes which is a real bummer. If I had to give an edge to one or the another I’d say Hitomi’s look is better personally. Mainly for less tats and the look of her boob spillage.
Overall Winner
Hitomi’s entry came out on top with a score of 9 versus Julia’s entry with a score of 8.4. Honestly this mainly comes down to personal preference as both are nearly identical. I only gave Julia’s a lower score due to not like her appearance quite as much which is mainly attributed to the arm tattoos. The plots are the exact same pretty much but Hitomi’s entry features slightly better action with with the superior paizuri scene and final scene. Not to mention her performance is a bit better than Julia’s. I’m sure others would tear these films down more than I did but seeing as how I’m not a suc snob I enjoyed them both. Both could’ve been better for sure but at the end of the day they’re fine films.
